Woodybanks Cottage enjoys magnificent elevated views across the “Wildbrook Water Meadows” of Amberley situated along the South Downs National Park Whatever the weather, the views will be breath-taking! The lovely garden has benches for guests to take in the scenery with its sunsets, fallow deer and wildfowl below.
The accommodation has a twin bedded room plus family accommodation. There is a private bathroom just paces from the bedrooms along with a private guest sitting room with comfortable armchairs, log fireplace and plenty of tourist reading material, LCD television and DVDs.
The Cottage is disabled friendly with facilities for people with limited mobility, one step to the front door with wrought iron handrail and a downstairs toilet/wash room, with room for a wheelchair.
With full central heating throughout, comfort for guests is a priority, and 3-course tasty and varied breakfasts are provided, with special diets catered for.
There are many tourist attractions in the area including, historic Arundel which is just one stop from nearby Amberley train station and the coast is 22 minutes’ drive. Complimentary lifts are available from Amberley station for walkers to the area.
Step back in time to Amberley and its tranquil thatched village, often referred to as “The Pearl of Sussex”.

Approximately 5 miles or 8 km from Arundel.
Take the A284 / 3rd exit from the roundabout onto the B2139.
At the bottom of the (steep) hill, cross the river and turn left into the village of Amberley.
Bear round past the Black Horse pub on your right, continue up the road for half a mile and on the left is the Sportsman Inn.
Just past the pub on the left is Woodybanks Cottage. Pull into the driveway.
