  1. OPEN 2019 - The Sea, Art Exhibition at Littlehampton Museum

    Details

    Littlehampton Museum’s hugely popular OPEN exhibition returns for its 8th year, with fantastic artwork from all over Sussex filling the Hearne Gallery until Christmas. 

    This year for the first time, visitors were asked to choose the theme, and after hundreds of votes The Sea proved  most popular.

    As ever, people of any age, ability or artistic medium are invited to create artwork and have the chance to be included in the final display. 

     

    Dates of submission: Work may be taken to the Museum during opening hours from Thursday 5th September – Saturday 7th September 2019.

    Each artist must complete an entry form to enter the OPEN, this should be handed in along with your artwork during submission week.

    Forms can be picked up at the Museum Reception Desk, or downloaded from the Museum's website where you will also find Terms & Conditions.

  2. Come to Arcady - the rise of Edwardian musical comedy

    Details

    When the partnership of Gilbert and Sullivan came to an end in the 1890s, the void was filled by a new and even lighter entertainment called musical comedy.

    Ian Gledhill?s illustrated talk with music looks at the development of this genre from 'The Shop Girl' of 1894 through to Lionel Monckton's hit show 'The Arcadians'.

    All are welcome to this talk hosted by Rustington Heritage Association. Members £1; visitors £3 (pay at the door).

    Arundel Farmers' Market offers you a wide range of local produce, including fruit and vegetables, bread and cakes, flowers and plants, meat and poultry, dairy produce and more.

    The market takes place between 9am and 1pm on the third Saturday of every month in Arundel town centre and is operated and run by The Arundel & Downland Community Leisure Trust (ACT).

    Please call to check the opening dates especially if you are making a special journey.

  4. Evening Roost Opening at WWT Arundel

    The Centre stays open to see the marsh harriers and more come in for the evening roost.
    Open until 6pm. Included with normal admission price.
