Description
Littlehampton Museum is in the heart of the town centre and offers a fascinating insight into the community’s social history through a variety of exciting galleries showcasing local people’s collections and archaeological treasures.
Explore the maritime gallery to learn about sunken shipwrecks. Take a peek in the Victorian case at a 100-year-old nightdress. The Roman silver coin hoard will amaze young and old alike. Plus, learn about the people living in Littlehampton 2,000 years ago.
The Museum also has a lively temporary exhibition programme, featuring the work of local artists and school groups, as well as showcasing the Museum's collection throughout the year. Pop in to pick up the exhibition programme and check out the active education and outreach service, as well as an established programme of activities for the kids every school holiday!
