1,200 acres of open downland adjacent to Arundel Castle and close to the South Downs National Park, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Enjoy walks along the public footpaths or time on the water at Swanbourne Lake.
Facilities and attractions include rowing boat hire at Swanbourne Lake, tearooms and toilets at Swanbourne Lodge, wildlife watching at nearby WWT Arundel Wetland Centre and also Hiorne’s Tower – an 18th Century folly built by Sir Francis Hiorne to prove his architectural abilities to the 11th Duke of Norfolk.
