Things to do in Littlehampton

There's even more to Littlehampton than a visit to the beach or seafront, though that of course comes highly recommended.

There’s a whole range of activities you could add to your holiday itinerary so you can enjoy some great days out, scroll down and find your favourite way to enjoy Littlehampton.

Visit the family-friendly East Beach and neighbouring Seafront Greens and make use of the free-to-use BBQs on for a fresh air feast.
Ride the waterside amusements at nearby Harbour Park.
Rest a while and take your photos from the long bench on the seafront.
Visit the famously unusual East Beach Café as you walk or cycle along the promenade.
Littlehampton West Beach is a rural nature reserve and the Littlehampton Ferry operates during the summer to take you across the river or to or enjoy a harbour boat trip. Littlehampton Golf Club - the only links course in West Sussex is alos on the west side of the river.
Littlehampton Harbour  - at the mouth of the River Arun, offers charter and commercial fishing and launching from a public slipway. Call in to the Harbour Board Office for local Visitor Information leaflets.

At the eastern end of the promenade, ride the  Miniature Railway between Mewsbrook Park and Norfolk Gardens In the summer pedalos are also available to hire in the beautiful Mewsbrook Park, with a great cafe open all year round
Children  can enjoy the fresh air by the seafront at Lion's Den Play Park on the Seafront Greens and the whole family can play at Pirates at the Bucaneer Bay Adventure Golf Park in Norfolk Gardens
Swimming, gym , sports hall and more are all available at the newly opened Littlehampton Wave Swimming and Sports Centre  at the eastern end of the seafront.
