The slow-moving wheel allows observers to view the region from a unique vantage point and will operate Sunday-Friday from 11am to 7pm and from 10am to 8pm on Saturdays.
In order to make the attraction accessible to as many people as possible, the Wheel has a pod specially designed for wheelchairs.

Socially distanced queuing systems will be in place and the use of hand sanitiser before and after entering the pods is compulsory for each passenger. The pods will be regularly cleaned to ensure the safety of all users.

Operated by The Giant Wheel Company, the attraction is self-funding with no financial input needed from Arun District Council.
Councillor Mrs Samantha-Jayne Staniforth, Arun District Council’s Cabinet Member for Neighbourhood Services said: “The wheel should provide a much-needed boost to everyone, after some very tough months. I am also hoping this will help local businesses and put our district well and truly on the map as an amazing place to be and stay, which we all know it is, this summer.
“The wheel is self-funding and as such Arun District Council has not needed to input financially at all. I am sure this will be a huge success.
“The pandemic has made UK holidays a must for many and a chance for us all to re-discover the amazing coastline we have in Sussex. There is plenty to see and do within our district and this will certainly help pull people into the area.  Our stunning beaches, beautiful villages and towns offer so much for visitors and I really hope this provides our local economy with a much-needed boost.
“We all need to do our sun dance this coming week to make sure those views will be as spectacular as possible. Enjoy!”
