As the days begin to lengthen, here's some great ideas to start plannng your days out in and around Arundel, Bognor RegisLittlehampton, local villages and the South Downs in West Sussex.

Enjoy nature at its cutest this spring with these great ideas.

  1. Witness the miracle of new life at Gaston Farm, Slindon and Coombes Farm, Lancing  where lambing is open to the public. Click on the links to find out more.

  2. Take a trip to Arundel WWT Wetland Centre where you can witness new life in wonderful scenic surroundings

  3. Meet goats, alpacas, ducks, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs and more at Ferring Country Centre’s Small Animals Farm.

  4. Visit Aldingbourne Country Centre where you can meet the animals on the Open Farm and enjoy walks through the ancient woodland area.

  5. Plan an (almost) FREE day out and pack a picnic to enjoy your first trip to the beach or one of our lovely parks and open spaces.or in the South Downs National Park at any time of year. 

  6. Take your dog for a walk in the South Downs countryside.

  7. What's On. Add some spring-themed events to your itinerary planner using the handy Sussex by the Sea what’s on calendar. Just choose an event you like and add it to your itinerary to view on the site or email to yourself for later. Keep checking back as more events are being added regularly
