Please read description for venues
Contact: Derek Moore, Arun Volunteer Centre - 01903 731223 Tuesday in the Arun Civic Centre and Wednesday in Bognor Regis Town Hall We are planning to hold two separate volunteering awareness days during Volunteers Week in June 2008. The first event will be held in the Arun Civic Centre on Tuesday 3rd and the second in Bognor Regis Town Hall on Wednesday 4th. Both events will take place between 11am and 4pm. The aim of the events will be to showcase the activities of Voluntary Groups/Organisations within the Arun area, thank existing Volunteers for their dedication and commitment and to recruit new Volunteers. Space will be limited but we would like to offer the opportunity for a number of groups to participate on the day (each Grp/Org will be required to provide their own display board). We would also like other non-participating Grps/Orgs to provide leaflets etc, which can be offered to prospective volunteers. If your Group/Organisation would like to participate then please register your interest by contacting Derek at either of the Volunteering Points as soon as possible, space will be allocated on a first come first served basis. If you are a prospective volunteer please put this date in your diary and come along on the day. You will not be put under any pressure or be pushed into becoming a volunteer, if after taking a look you do not think volunteering is for you, that is your decision.
