Things to do in Littlehampton

The list of Littlehampton attractions is so much longer than just a visit to Littlehampton beach or seafront – there’s a whole range of activities you could add to your holiday itinerary so you can enjoy some great days out!

Visit the family-friendly East Beach and cook on free-to-use BBQs on East Beach Green. Ride the waterside amusements at nearby Harbour Park. Rest a while and take your photos from the long bench on the seafront. Or visit the famously unusual East Beach Café as you walk or cycle along the promenade. You can even take  the Littlehampton Ferry during the summer over to Littlehampton West Beach – a Local Nature Reserve.

Littlehampton Harbour, at the mouth of the River Arun, offers charter and commercial fishing and launching from a public slipway next to the Look and Sea Visitor Centre. Inside the Centre, there’s a cafe, Visitor Information and an interactive harbour exhibition. You can also get to know Littlehampton’s history at the town’s Museum alongside a great programme of events and exhibitions.

Ride the mini railway between Mewsbrook Park and Norfolk Gardens or hire a pedal boat at Oyster Pond. Swimming, badminton and squash are all available at the Swimming and Sports Centre and Littlehampton Golf Club is the only links course in West Sussex.

Enjoy two hours FREE parking. Click on the picture on the right to see where to obtain your own 2 hours free parking disc from local shops, so that you can explore at your leisure at no extra cost.
