Type: Historic Site

One of the largest villas open to the public in Great Britain, with some of the finest mosaics all in situ and all under cover, including Medusa, Venus and Cupid gladiators and Ganymede.

Rediscovered in 1811, see the longest mosaic on display in Great Britain at 24 metres.

Walk on original floors dating back to around 350AD and then enjoy our tearoom and picnic area with exquisite views of the South Downs.

Road Directions

From Arundel take the A284/ A29 and from the coast take the A29/A27/A29 London Road. Continue on the A29 over Bury Hill and at the bottom of the hill, take the first turning on the left, signed to Bignor village and the Villa.
