Attractions in Sussex by the Sea

You’re never far away from a magnificent view in Sussex by the Sea, whether it’s the stunning coastline, the classic South Downs countryside or the charm of the seaside. But there are plenty of man-made attractions and events too. From cathedrals and classical concerts, to clown conventions and crazy golf – the welcoming Sussex by the Sea region really does cater for all tastes.
You will be spoilt for choice with Arundel attractions. The town's skyline is dominated by the turrets of Arundel Castle and the meandering River Arun plays host to leisurely boat trips. Or check out the wildlife at Arundel Wetland Centre.
Along with it's stunning beaches, Littlehampton's attractions include The Look and Sea Visitor Centre! with its view tower and interactive exhibition, Harbour Park a unique Amusement Park & the new Action Boat!
The coast is one of the main Bognor Regis attractions, along with the famous family resort of Butlins. The town also boasts a wealth of traditional attractions including the Local History & Wireless Museum.
The nearby inland attractions are well worth visiting too, including the 36 acre industrial Amberley Museum or Parham House and Gardens, a much-loved Elizabethan family home.
The Weald & Downland Open Air Museum has more than 45 original historic buildings, rescued and reconstructed and open to the public in the heart of the South Downs National Park.
Fishbourne Roman Palace has impressive remains to explore and excavated artefacts in the musuem gallery.
