Amberley Working Museum & Heritage Centre is a 36 acre open-air site dedicated to preserving the industrial heritage of the south east.

Exhibits include a narrow-gauge railway and vintage bus collection (both of which provide free transport around the site). the Connected Earth telecommunications hall, the EDF ENERGY Electricity Hall, a Printing Workshop and much more.

The museum is also home to traditional craftspeople, such as the broom-maker, foundry man, walking stick maker, potter and clay pipe maker.

There is also a 96 seater restaurant,gift shop and numerous picnic areas.

We suggest allowing about three hours for your visit.

The museum is open from Sat 13th February - Sun 31st October 2010, every Tuesday to Sunday,
including Bank Holidays and West Sussex County Council School Holidays.

Road Directions

Amberley Museum is situated in West Sussex on the B2139, midway between Arundel and Storrington, adjacent to Amberley Railway Station.

Public Transport Directions

The Museum is right next door to Amberley Mainline Rail Station, with frequent services to/from London Victoria, and only one stop along from Arundel. Links also with coastal towns of Bognor Regis, Littlehampton, Worthing and Brighton, plus Chichester & Portsmouth.
