Amberley Working Museum & Heritage Centre is a 36 acre open-air site dedicated to preserving the industrial heritage of the south east.
Exhibits include a narrow-gauge railway and vintage bus collection (both of which provide free transport around the site). the Connected Earth telecommunications hall, the EDF ENERGY Electricity Hall, a Printing Workshop and much more.
The museum is also home to traditional craftspeople, such as the broom-maker, foundry man, walking stick maker, potter and clay pipe maker.
There is also a 96 seater restaurant,gift shop and numerous picnic areas.
We suggest allowing about three hours for your visit.
The museum is open from Sat 13th February - Sun 31st October 2010, every Tuesday to Sunday,
including Bank Holidays and West Sussex County Council School Holidays.
