Our Villages in Sussex by the Sea

Enjoy quintessential England by exploring our interesting towns and wandering around our pictureque villages, splendid gardens and churches. Whether you have an interest in antiques, a passion for crafts or an eye for a bargain, we’ve got plenty of ways for you to treat yourself.
Many villages in the Sussex by the Sea area are picture postcard examples of classical English villages with duckponds, fine cottages, churches, tea rooms, and superb country pubs offering delicious home cooked food.
A wealth of talented artists live in the area and their work can be seen and purchased in galleries and open studios.
Craft exhibitions and fun workshops are on offer all year round and there are countless unique little shops selling handmade trinkets and treasures.

Many of our parishes and towns hold traditional village fetes during the summer, including Findon’s famous Sheep Fair which has been going since the 1800s.
Most of our parishes have their own websites which aim to keep local residents up to date with what's happening where they live:
Aldingbourne, Aldwick, Angmering, Barnham, Bersted, Burpham, Clapham, Climping, East Preston, Eastergate, Felpham, Ferring, Findon, Ford, Houghton, Kingston, Lyminster, Madehurst, Middleton-on-sea, Pagham, Patching, Poling, Rustington, Slindon, South Stoke, Walberton, Warningcamp and Yapton.
