Bognor Regis & Littlehampton beaches have just been awarded the 2011 International Blue Flag Award. Littlehampton also has the 2011 Quality Coast Award.

With first aid facilities, KidSafe wristbands and friendly foreshores staff, you’ve got everything you could possibly need at Littlehampton and Bognor Regis for a traditional seaside break.

See Littlehampton's newly opened 'Long Bench', the longest bench in Britain, which colourfully weaves its way along the promenade between two huge, dynamic shelters. As you stroll along, why not read some of the moving messages engraved on the slats? There's even a marriage proposal!

Smaller, more secluded beaches at Pagham, Felpham, Aldwick, Climping and Ferring offer peace and calm where your only company might be the birds above and a good book. 

Littlehampton’s West Beach, a protected stretch of coastline, draws people to its rolling sand dunes, rare plants and wildlife habitat.

Our prime location means we enjoy the most sunshine hours in Britain, but the beach can still be enjoyed out of season when the wind and the waves crashing into the shore will really blow away the cobwebs!

Whatever your mood, whatever the season, our coast is our star attraction, drawing visitors from all over the world.

So, relax on the beach, chill out on a deck chair, tuck into an ice cream or take a romantic stroll along the water’s edge.

If you like to bring your four legged friends to the beach with you, please check which beaches welcome dogs during the summer season (May - September). Some of the beaches have restrictions and are clearly signposted.
