Bognor Regis Parks & Gardens

You can take a stroll through centuries of horticultural history in Bognor Regis which boasts spectacular displays of wonderful seasonal plantings.
The town has many beautiful gardens to be explored, alive with ancient trees, rare plants and wonderful scents of flowers in full bloom.
Hotham Park in Bognor Regis has just been awarded for the 3rd year running the coveted Green Flag – the highest possible accolade for open spaces in Britain – officially ranking it one of the very best in the country. It was also awarded a Gold Award in the South & South East in Bloom Awards for the 2010/11 Season.
Close to the town centre and Butlins, Hotham Park is where the founder of Bognor Regis, Sir Richard Hotham, built his home in 1792. Major restoration work has taken place in the park following a £2.2 million grant award from the Heritage Lottery Fund restoring the attraction to its former glory.
As well as the timeless appeal of the miniature railway for youngsters, there’s a boating lake, children’s play area, crazy golf, picnic area, café and toilets.
Marine Park Gardens is the latest Council park to be given the Prestigious Green Flag Award. The gardens are in Marine Drive West, Aldw
ick, and were established in the 1930s. This seafront park boasts exceptional summer and winter bedding displays and boasts many original architectural features, including an ornamental fountain.
For the third year running, the Marine Park Gardens has won a Silver Gilt award in the South & South East in Bloom Awards. The facilities include toilets and a putting green (seasonal opening hours).
