Shopping in Arundel, Sussex

Arundel’s charming streets are bustling with thriving independent shops, galleries and antique retailers all giving a highly individual welcome.
Since 2004, Arundel has been a Fairtrade Town and all retailers have made a commitment to supporting
fair-trade using products with the Fairtrade mark.
Shops include homewares, gifts, a great delicatessen, organic food, contemporary art, antiques, ladies clothes, children’s clothes and toys, pet food and treats, jewellery walking sticks, Britain’s only marble collectors shop and even an expedition outfitters which claims to have the best choice of walking boots in northern Europe.
Arundel is particularly well known for it's wealth of antique shops, scattered around the town, popular with collectors and all those looking for something a little bit different. There's also an array of art galleries featuring contemporary and traditional pieces from both local artists and those from further afield.
There are three main car parks, opposite the castle gates on Mill Road, at the Lid off Queen Street and at Crown Yard off River Road. They all provide easy access to the main shopping streets, High Street, Queen Street and Tarrant Street.
