The Thatched House
Type: Guest House
Mary & Guy Leonard invite you to stay at their comfortable country house B&B in the heart of the historic village of Amberley, with Amberley Castle very close by.
In spite of being called "The Thatched House" it is not in fact thatched, but gets it's name from being an old 'Beer House' until the late 1960s.
The house has lovely gardens, being re planted over the last two years, that give stunning views to "The Wildbrooks" nature conservation area, a favourite haunt of wild geese and swans.
Access to The South Downs Way is easy from the village, which also boasts two village pubs a Pottery, Norman Church and nearby Amberley Working Museum.
Well placed for Goodwood, Petworth House, RSPB reserve, Pulborough, Arundel Wetlands Centre and the historic towns of Arundel and Chichester.
