Quality Assurance

There is a great range of accommodation in Sussex by the Sea - and all those featured on this site have been officially Quality Assured.

There are two national quality schemes to look out for. VisitEngland (the official English tourist board) or the AA (Automobile Association).

Both organisations work to the same standards when assessing visitor accommodation and rate each property with 1 to 5 stars as part of the official national quality scheme. This means that your accommodation has been visited and assessed by the experts, so that you know what to expect and can find just the right accommodation to fit your needs and your budget.

How many stars are you looking for?

1 star = Simple, practical, no frills.

2 star = Well presented and well run.

3 star = Good level of quality and comfort.

4 star = Excellent standard throughout. 

5 star = Exceptional with a degree of luxury.

If you happen to see an accommodation listed on this site with no stars, they may be in the process of applying to join one or both of the schemes.
