| Whatever
your age or taste it is waiting for you on Sussex by
the Sea's spectacular 14 ½ mile stretch of coastline.
Year after year, Bognor
Regis ranks as one of the sunniest places
in Britain, and where better to enjoy the fine weather
than on the resort's glorious sand and pebble beach.
Stroll along the prom, relax at the Bandstand, or take
a pleasant walk along the pier.
As well as the main resort beach, there are other quieter
beaches to enjoy at Felpham,
Aldwick and Pagham.

| In 2001 Bognor Regis
became one of the few beaches in the South East
awarded the coveted European Blue Flag Award.
The resort has also been given the UK Seaside
Award, both awards presented to beaches
with the highest levels of cleanliness and water
safety. |
Along the main section of the beach, Bognor's
"Kid Care" scheme is in operation,
which means parents get peace of mind while children
have fun. Free colour-coded wrist bands matching painted
sections of the prom guide children back to their parents
or to the care of the Foreshore Officer.
The Zoned areas in the sea ensure safe swimming and
protect bathers from watercraft and for those with their
own watercraft, a launch ramp is located at the western
end of the beach, near to Butlins Resort.
During
the summer, dogs are not allowed on certain beaches
in Bognor Regis. Dogs must be kept on leads on the promenades
adjacent to these beach areas. Please observe the byelaw
and look out for the signs showing where dogs are banned.
Please contact the Dog Wardens on 01903 737500 for further
details.

Information Centre for more information.
